It’s the Third Wednesday After the Epiphany in the Church Calendar. January 24, 2024.

Our general order and lectionary comes from the Book of Common Prayer Daily Office. We’ll sing “Dress Us Up” by John Mark McMillan with a prayer of confession. We’ll read Psalm 119:49-72 followed by the Gloria Patri. Our Scripture lesson is John 5:19-29 . We’ll say the Apostles’ Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, and the Collect of the Day followed by a time of spontaneous, prompted prayer.

Third Sunday after the Epiphany – Give us grace, O Lord, to answer readily the call of our Savior Jesus Christ and proclaim to all people the Good News of his salvation, that we and the whole world may perceive the glory of his marvelous works; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
