It’s Wednesday of Ordinary Time, Proper 14 in the Church Calendar. August 16, 2023.

Praying today for believers in Lebanon.

Our general order and lectionary comes from the Book of Common Prayer Daily Office. We’ll sing “Your Grace is Enough” by Matt Maher and we’ll include a prayer of confession. We’ll read Psalms 101 and 109:1-4, 20-30 followed by the Gloria Patri. Our Scripture lesson is Acts 21:15-26 . We’ll say the Apostles’ Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, and the Collect of the Day. We’ll then have a time of prompted prayer.

Celebrating the life and faith of Mary, Mother of Jesus in the Church Calendar. August 15, 2023.

Praying again today for the island of Maui in the state of Hawaii.

Our general order and lectionary comes from the Book of Common Prayer Daily Office. We’ll sing a song I wrote called “The Sound and the Stirring” and we’ll include a prayer of confession. We’ll read Psalms 113 and 115 followed by the Gloria Patri. Our Scripture lesson is John 2:1-12 . We’ll say the Apostles’ Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, and the Collect of the Day. We’ll then have a time of prompted prayer.
