It’s the Fourth Thursday of Easter in the Church Calendar. May 4, 2023.

This week we are following the Daily Office lectionary with an episode Monday through Friday.

Our general order and lectionary comes from the Book of Common Prayer Daily Office. Singing a song I wrote with Joanne Chantelau, “Mover of Mountains,” with a prayer of confession. We’ll read Psalm 50 followed by the Gloria Patri. Our Gospel reading is Luke 6:39-49 . We’ll say the Apostles’ Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, and the Collect of the Day. We’ll then have a time of prompted prayer.
