Today’s episode is in remembrance of a great friend of the podcast who passed away into the presence of Jesus this week. She wrote the order of service for this special episode. We remember Laura Ulicky and her heart for prayer. May she rest in peace and rise in glory.

It’s the Season After Pentecost, Proper 19 in the Church Calendar

Our general order comes from the Book of Common Prayer (1979) Daily Office and Scripture readings from the Revised Common Lectionary. We’ll sing the song “Holy, Holy, Holy” by Reginald Heber and John Dykes. We’ll then offer a Prayer of Confession. We’ll read Psalm 51:1-11 followed by the Gloria Patri. Our Scripture Lesson is Luke 15:1-10 . We’ll say the Apostles’ Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, and the Collect of the Day. We’ll then have a time of prompted prayer.
