t’s Eve of Epiphany in the Church Calendar.

This week we are following the Daily Office lectionary with an episode Monday through Friday.

Our general order and lectionary comes from the Book of Common Prayer Daily Office. We’ll sing “HIs Glory Appears” by Marty Sampson and Darlene Zschech. We’ll read Psalms 29 and 98 followed by the Gloria Patri. Our Scripture reading is Romans 15:7-13 . We’ll say the Apostles’ Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, and the Collect of the Day. We’ll then have a time of prompted prayer.

Collect of the Day
First Sunday after Christmas Day, Rite Two
Almighty God, you have poured upon us the new light of your incarnate Word: Grant that this light, enkindled in our hearts, may shine forth in our lives; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
