It’s Christmas Day in the Church Calendar.

This week we are following the Daily Office lectionary with an episode Monday through Sunday, Christmas Day.

Our general order and lectionary comes from the Book of Common Prayer Daily Office. We’ll sing my song “Come Home.” We’ll read John 1:1-14 followed by the Gloria Patri. We’ll say the Apostles’ Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, and the Collect of the Day. We’ll then have a time of prompted prayer.

If you have a prayer request please submit it here. Sign up here for the email list.

Collect of the Day
The Nativity of Our Lord: Christmas Day I, Rite Two
O God, you make us glad by the yearly festival of the birth of your only Son Jesus Christ: Grant that we, who joyfully receive him as our Redeemer, may with sure confidence behold him when he comes to be our Judge; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
