It’s Christmas Eve in the Church Calendar.
This week we are following the Daily Office lectionary with an episode Monday through Sunday, Christmas Day.
Our general order and lectionary comes from the Book of Common Prayer Daily Office. We’ll sing “Go Tell It On The Mountain” by John Work Jr. We’ll then offer a Prayer of Confession. We’ll read Philippians 2:5-11 followed by the Gloria Patri. We’ll say the Apostles’ Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, and the Collect of the Day. We’ll then have a time of prompted prayer.

The Nativity of Our Lord: Christmas Day, Rite Two
O God, you have caused this holy night to shine with the brightness of the true Light: Grant that we, who have known the mystery of that Light on earth, may also enjoy him perfectly in heaven; where with you and the Holy Spirit he lives and reigns, one God, in glory everlasting. Amen.
