Thanks for praying and worshiping with me today. As always, our Scripture readings and general order come from the Book of Common Prayer (1979) Daily Office. In the Church calendar, Epiphany begins. We’ll start with my setting of “The Prayer of St. Francis (Make Me an Instrument)” and weave it throughout. After a prayer of confession, we’ll read Psalm 72:1-7,10-14 followed by the Gloria Patri. Our Gospel reading is Matthew 2:1-12. After the Apostles’ Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, and the Collect of the Day, we’ll have a time of guided prayer. Photograph by me đŸ™‚

Ben addressed the sometimes heated and visceral arguments between Christians and that we need to strive to be ‘instruments of God’s peace’ when relating to one another. Let us all pray for wisdom and spiritual maturity that we might deal with each other in God pleasing ways.
