It’s Wednesday in Holy Week in the Church Calendar. April 5, 2023.
This week we are following the Daily Office lectionary with an episode Monday through Friday.

Our general order and lectionary comes from the Book of Common Prayer Daily Office. We’ll sing “Is He Worthy?” by Andrew Peterson and Ben Shive. We’ll read Psalm 70 followed by the Gloria Patri. Our Gospel reading is John 13:21-32 . We’ll say the Apostles’ Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, and the Collect of the Day. We’ll then have a time of prompted prayer.

Collect of the Day – Wednesday in Holy Week, Rite Two – Lord God, whose blessed Son our Savior gave his body to be whipped and his face to be spit upon: Give us grace to accept joyfully the sufferings of the present time, confident of the glory that shall be revealed; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
