Amazing news!! We exceeded the goal for the summer giving campaign. Well over 20 people gave and, because of your generosity, I will be able to make the repairs to my guitar and purchase a backup. I am so thankful and so blessed to be a part of this community. THANK YOU!!!!

It’s Monday of Ordinary Time, Proper 11 in the Church Calendar. July 24, 2023.

This week we are following the Daily Office lectionary with an episode Monday through Friday.

Our general order and lectionary comes from the Book of Common Prayer Daily Office. We’ll sing a song I wrote based on the prayer of St. Francis called, “Lord, Make Me an Instrument,” and we’ll include a prayer of confession. We’ll read Psalms 41 and 52 followed by the Gloria Patri. Our Scripture lesson is Acts 13:44-52 . We’ll say the Apostles’ Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, and the Collect of the Day. We’ll then have a time of prompted prayer.

If you have a prayer request please submit it here. Sign up here for the email list.

Proper 11 – Almighty God, the fountain of all wisdom, you know our necessities before we ask and our ignorance in asking: Have compassion on our weakness, and mercifully give us those things which for our unworthiness we dare not, and for our blindness we cannot ask; through the worthiness of your Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
