It’s the Epiphany of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the Church Calendar.

This week we are following the Daily Office lectionary with an episode Monday through Friday.

Our general order and lectionary comes from the Book of Common Prayer Daily Office. We’ll sing “Here I Am to Worship” by Tim Hughes. We’ll read Psalm 72:1-7, 10-14 followed by the Gloria Patri. Our Gospel reading is Matthew 2:1-12 . We’ll say the Apostles’ Creed, the Lord’s Prayer, and the Collect of the Day. We’ll then have a time of prompted prayer.

O God, by the leading of a star you manifested your only Son to the peoples of the earth: Lead us, who know you now by faith, to your presence, where we may see your glory face to face; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.
